Detailed Property Description

Situated in the beautiful coastal region of Cornwall, Seraph Estates have secured two 3-bedroom cottages located within a 16-acre woodland area. The cottages, designed to sleep up to 6 people in 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room, are available all year round.

The Cottages

Each of our two cottages have the same layout and are both designed to be sympathetic with their surroundings. The ground floors of each cottage are decorated to give a light and airy feel from the moment you enter. Off the entrance hallway a cloakroom and understairs cupboard can be found. The open plan living, dining room and kitchen leads on from here.

'From the living/dining room, the patio doors take you out onto a decked area overlooking the stream that runs through the Pendra Loweth village which can be used as an additional room over the summer months. The kitchen is fully fitted with integrated refrigerator, oven with hob, and washing machine. A downstairs toilet with basin, heated towel rail, and extractor fan completes the ground floor.

On the first floor can be found two double bedrooms and one twin room in addition to an airing cupboard, and a family bathroom. The family bathroom is fully fitted and includes a bath, power shower, basin, and heated towel rail.

The Village of Pendra Loweth

The cottages are situated approximately 2 miles from the town and harbour of Falmouth, the third largest natural harbour in the world, on a well equipped site with modern facilities of a high standard. Falmouth is acknowledged to be one of the most attractive resorts in the whole of the country with endless walks and fantastic gardens. Great and varied entertainment with superb places to eat and drink.

On the site you can now wine and dine in the café bar. The bar serves a good range of beers, wines and soft drinks along with bar meals. Cream teas, coffee, tea and light bites are also available.

Alternatively, for the more energetic, you can work out at the well-equipped gym on the running, cycling or rowing machines, pump those biceps on the weights, or work out on the floor. Then relax in the Jacuzzi, steam room or spoil yourself in the fast all over tanning room, or maybe just relax in the splash pool.

Outside there are 3 all weather tennis courts and for the smaller visitor a safe and enclosed play area with climbing frame and slide.

The park was established by Gerald Hick back in the early 1950's and with the help of his wife May and sister Isabel, with caravans and tents for hire set in green fields. The park is proudly the holder of two prestigious awards, please click on the images to find out more about the awards.

Since this humble beginning the park has developed to the beautiful and tranquil holiday village of today over its long life. The village is still in the Hick family with John, who has been there as man and boy, at it's helm. With Carol who runs the luxury bar, fitness centre and splash pool and Kay running the office and ground staffs, you can rest assure that your holiday will be what you expect and more.

Pendra Loweth is an all year round destination choice, however during our quieter winter months our on site facilities do vary, The gym, Jacuzzi, steam room, solarium and splash pool are open as usual, however the availability of the bar and café and the serving of hot food and beverages is reduced.

The Local Area

Falmouth is one of Cornwall's leading south coast resorts. Home to the country's maritime heritage, here you will find sandy beaches and spectacular scenery.

There are many specialist shops from local art to antiques. Exceptional sailing in the Carrick Roads and Fal Estuary and many wrecks to dive on and explore.

Sight seeing in the Falmouth area could not be easier. You can climb aboard one of the many passenger ferries or pleasure boats to explore the harbour, bay or over to St. Mawes. You can go further a field still, up the river to the city of Truro or over to the beautiful Helford river.

The main street is a mixture of chain stores and individual specialist outlets. There is an abundance of cafes, restaurants, pubs and hotels offering an international table.

You can sail, swim, dive or walk. On the other hand, you can sit on a pleasure boat absorbing the sights or lie on the beach soaking up the sun.

For the traditionalist to the modernist visits to the numerous National Trust or English Heritage will fill your time and more. Alternatively the Tate Modern at St. Ives or the Eden Project just outside St. Austell will be sure to stimulate the mind. Steeped in legends and myths, pirates, smugglers and their fair maidens Cornwall has it all.
