Tenant Selection
Once the prospective tenants have decided they love your property and really want to go for it we ensure that they are the right tenants for your property as discussed with you earlier in the process. We do this through a variety of methods:
- Interview the prospective tenant, on first enquiry, during the viewing and at the point they say they wish to take the property so it does not feel like an interrogation process.
- We take references which can involve an employment reference, bank reference and a reference from a previous landlord.
- For younger prospective tenants, prospective tenants on a low income, students and other categories that we feel it is necessary, we take a guarantor. You can insist on a guarantor if you require.
- We credit check the tenant to ensure they do not have a history of financial difficulty or non-payment.
